Hot End Manual Updates
Those who follow the hot end manual may have some notes, tips or corrections on the various steps. This is the place to share them all! New builders can use this section as an addendum or for clarification. There are also many tips on specific build steps in the forum, blog and here in the wiki. Please avoid describing mods that are not absolutely necessary to get a good working hot end, but please do add links to your special mods. IMPORTANT NOTE: While working with fire cement make sure you do not get any fire cement inside the heater barrel nor on/in the nozzle. If you, manage to get the nozzle or the inside of the heater barrel dirty with fire cement, clean it immediately. If nozzle if closed with fire cement, use a thin needle and wet thread to clean the nozzle from fire cement. Before you try to extrude any type of filament for the first time, make sure your nozzle is clean and that there is no dirt inside. It will be very hard to clean it once it is filled with filament
