Q. "What corner is the back left one? What side of the device would I be facing"?

A. You should be facing the front But aaah, what is the front? The front side is where the PCB, controls and display are mounted. So back left is where the Y axis stepper is mounted


Q. "What part is the "Setting bar"? The arrow point to one of the bearings".

A. The long acrylic part you used in the build manual to set the horizontal, vertical and diagonal distances between all the rods

Q. "What part IS the "Z height adjuster"?

A. Its the screw with 57mm dimension next to it shown in the illustration to the right of the text block.


Setting the Z Height

SD Card

  • The "LED 1" next to the card-reader should light up when a card is inserted. (forum)
  • The card must be formated with FAT16 or FAT12, NOT with FAT32 and with no partition-table.
  • Thus the card must be a fast SD- or MMC-card of at most 2GB, not larger.
  • A card that is too slow will cause issues during printing.
